THINGS TO DO
CROSS COUNTRY SKIING
A great way to keep fit and see the stunning views on narrow ski’s where you sliding along either going up or coming down. The natural 3km cross country track is open all winter
TELEMARK SKIING
This is also known as Free-heel skiing , where your heel is able to move up and down free of the ski . Does take some experience and can be done both on and off the piste.
ALPINE SKIING
Skiers can chose their own route of skiing with great snow conditions due to the high altitude of the resort. The ski area is limitless, with area’s available to both beginners and advanced skiers.
SNOWBOARDING
For the adventurous and those that like to spend a lot of time on their behind . A very popular sport and Cervinia offers the Snow Park filled with kickers and rails. Even the Skiers have a go in the snowpark.
POWDER OR FREE-RIDE SKIING
This is where both snowboarders and Skiers take advantage of the fresh powder and when looking up from the bottom the only tracks that remain are yours.
HELISKIING
If your into jumping out of helicopters and getting that rush of adrenaline then this one is for you , but definitely require experience and is always accompanied by a ski guide with excellent experience in off piste skiing.
SNOWSHOEING
The art of walking through thick snow in a big pair of meshed and specifically designed shoes, which you attach to your own. There are set trails available and are 4,5km and 7kms long. It is certainly the best way to get in touch with nature and experience the absolute beauty of the Matterhorn.
TANDEM-PARAGLIDING
No experience necessary as accompanied by an experienced paraglider. You fly over the ski area and get a bird’s eye view of the slopes.
SLEDDOG TOURS
A journey where one is pulled along in a sled by the most beautiful Husky dogs. Yet another way to experience not only the feeling of being in Alaska but being surrounded by the rolling slopes of Cervinia.
ICE SKATING
Found in the centre of town, a naturally prepared outside ice rink. The kids have a blast.
ICE KARTING
This facility is located on the outskirts of the town. Fun is had by going round a naturally made ice track in go karts.
